The construction of a 4” fuel oil pipeline with a
length of 20 km for the Yenişehir Airport in Bursa.
Fuel oil facilities and pipelines have always had
an important place among Tekfen’s work. Small
projects, completed using very limited, even
primitive equipment, slowly led to bigger ones.
THE FRENCH
WELDER
1969...
The construction of the
ammonium tank for the
Samsun Fertilizer Plant,
undertaken by the French
company CMP. The French
have brought in even
their own welders, with
Tekfen providing only their
assistants. The way Turkey
was back in the time.
