The Carbon Disclosure Project

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), founded in London in 2000, is the most powerful of all green NGOs. It calls upon companies to disclose their environmental policies, and is commonly regarded as the world’s most widespread environmental reporting system. In addition, it has a larger collection of data on climate change and water (in the institutional context) than any other NGO.
