Tekfen Manufacturing
Since 1970, Tekfen Manufacturing has been catering to the needs of industrial facilities for various storage and process equipment. The Company provides its customers with an extensive portfolio that includes cylindrical and spherical storage tanks, pressure vessels, process columns, reactors, heat exchangers, waste heat recovery boilers, pressure piping circuits, and heavy steel constructions.
The Company offers engineering, manufacturing, and installation services that meet international standards not only to Tekfen Group but also to international contracting firms, refineries, petrochemical, chemical and fertiliser plants, iron and steel factories, power plants, and both domestic and foreign companies engaged in LPG storage and distribution.
In line with the Strategic Plan, to consolidate equipment and modular production capabilities, Ceyhan Manufacturing Facility is structured under Tekfen Manufacturing and Engineering Inc. in November 2023 and Tekfen Manufacturing, plans to relocate its production plant in Derince to the Ceyhan GAT site in the last quarter of 2024.
Fabrication Facilities
Ceyhan
The relocation of Tekfen Manufacturing’s production facility from Derince to Ceyhan, its integration with the Ceyhan Steel Fabrication Plant, and the commissioning of manufacturing equipment were completed in 2025. This integration aims to combine Ceyhan’s modular fabrication capabilities with Derince’s expertise in static equipment manufacturing, thereby improving operational efficiency and enabling centralised management. The transformation is designed to position Tekfen Manufacturing as a “one-stop shop” provider, enhancing both customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.
Following the relocation, the Company plans to focus in the short to medium term on the design and fabrication of cylindrical and spherical storage tanks—products that require a certain level of expertise and can benefit from Ceyhan’s pre-fabrication capabilities and logistical advantages—followed by increased emphasis on pressure vessel manufacturing.
Commissioned in 1993, the Ceyhan Manufacturing Facility produces steel pipes and modular structures for projects such as refineries, petrochemical complexes, power plants, marine terminals, oil and gas platforms, bridges, viaducts and E-houses. Built on a total area of 160,000 square metres, including 37,500 square metres of covered space, the facility has an annual production capacity of 40,000 tonnes of steel and 400,000 WDI pipe spools per shift. Since 2004, it has also been producing pipe spools made of stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, carbon alloy and carbon steel.
The facility also includes a welder training school established to meet the Group’s need for qualified technical personnel. The school trains internationally certified welders and plays a key role in supporting project requirements in this field.
CTS Bayıl Yard (Baku, Azerbaijan)
The Cenup Tikinti Servis (CTS) Steel Fabrication Facility, acquired through privatisation in 2003 to support the Group’s strategic activities in the Caspian region and to meet the structural steel fabrication needs of offshore operations, is located 7 km from central Baku. Modernised through significant investments and spread across a total area of 516,172 square metres, the facility is a fully integrated production centre comprising a 420,000 square metre platform and offshore fabrication area, 64,802 square metres of covered workshops and warehouses, a 30,300 square metre open structural storage area, and modern office buildings.
The facility’s track record has been reinforced through its role in the fabrication and offshore installation of major Caspian Sea projects between 1996 and 2013, including the C&WP, PCWU and West Chirag Oil Topsides platforms. Building on this experience, approximately 36,000 tonnes of fabrication work for two bridge-linked gas platforms was successfully completed under the Shah Deniz projects initiated in 2014 in collaboration with CTS and Azfen. The facility’s sixth major platform project, the 19,288-tonne ACE (Azeri Central East) drilling and production platform, was launched in August 2023, with offshore commissioning support activities continuing throughout 2024.
Atyrau Pipe Fabrication Facility (Kazakhstan)
Commissioned in 2019, the Atyrau Pipe Spool Fabrication Facility operates on a 20-hectare site, with 4,000 square metres of covered space. With an annual capacity of 150,000 WDI, the facility enables the Group to carry out all pipe fabrication activities within Kazakhstan and further strengthens its manufacturing capabilities in the Caspian region.
