Tekfen Holding continues its tradition of supporting a local community’s play at the Istanbul Theatre Festival with the festival’s opening play, “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme Remix,” celebrating the 400th birthday of Molière. Staged by award-winning directors M. Caner Alper and Mehmet Binay, the modern and interactive structure of the play will go beyond the expected and provide the audience with a different spectatorship experience.
The 26th edition of the Istanbul Theatre Festival organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) will feature Tekfen Holding as its “Performance Sponsors with Higher Contribution” and run from October 25 through November 26.
Curated by Işıl Kasapoğlu, this year the festival will welcome a total of 24 theater plays, performances, and dance performances, including brand-new plays and seminal performances from Turkey and abroad.
Erhan Hersek, Vice President of Human Resources at Tekfen, received the sponsor plaque on behalf of the company from the hands of İKSV Chairman Bülent Eczacıbaşı at a press conference held on September 6 at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum.
