The “2019 Export Stars” awards ceremony conducted annually by the İstanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (İKMİB) was held online this year. During the ceremony, which was attended also by Turkey’s trade minister Ruhsar Pekcan, Toros Tarım headed the field as Turkey’s chemical fertiliser export champion with 343,305 tons of product shipped abroad, thereby repeating its 2017 and 2018 championship performances in 2019 for the third year in a row. During his remarks, Tekfen Holding Vice President Hakan Göral said that Toros Tarım exported goods to fifteen countries extending from India to Africa and from Romania to Mexico. Adding that Toros Tarım’s repeated success was a source of great pride for all concerned, Mr Göral also said that he was tremendously pleased with Toros Tarım’s contribution to Turkey’s foreign-currency earnings.
