As part Tekfen Holding's 60th anniversary celebrations, senior executives of Tekfen Group of Companies gathered on September 30 to discuss the company's and the world's future at an event organized around the theme of "Imagine Your Future."
Senior executives of Tekfen Group of Companies gathered at The Grand Tarabya Hotel for an event marking the 60th anniversary of the Group. Organized around the theme of "Imagine Your Future," participants discussed the rapidly changing world and the ways to keep up with this change. Speakers of the days were Serdar Kuzuoğlu, journalist and expert on the new generation, economist Artunç Kocabalkan, journalist and TV producer Emin Çapa and futurist Cem Tarık Yüksel with challenging presentations on future trends and what they hold in store for individuals and companies. Discussions focused on the effect of technology on all industries and the contribution of personal development to the shared future of corporations.
Tekfen embraces the future with its values
In his anniversary speech, Chairman of the Board of Tekfen Holding Murat Gigin, pinpointed the past and present successes of the Group as well as the sound principles that have always been underlying its way of doing business. Gigin emphasized that whilst in the future, there will be new investments in a wide array of areas, Tekfen's unfaltering values of serving the country and the people and being respectful of nature will continue guiding the company in its future quest.
Moderated by Osman Birgili, President of the Tekfen Group of Companies, the panel discussion entitled "Tekfen of the Future" brought together the Vice Presidents of the holding to discuss the work done to this day and the projects planned for the short-term. Ümit Özdemir, Vice President for the Contracting Group, Hakan Göral, Deputy Vice President for the Agri-Industry Group, Zeynep Akdilli Oral, Vice President for the Real Estate Development Group, Reha Yolalan, Vice President for Corporate Affairs, Cahit Oklap, Vice President for Strategy, Business Development, and Investment, and Ahmet Okçular, Deputy Vice President for Financial Affairs took part in the panel, which offered clues for the types of approaches that will shape the next 60 years of Tekfen.
