Following the success achieved in Kashagan Project in Kazakhstan by reaching 23 million man hours of day away from work case (DAFWC) last month; Tekfen Construction boasts with yet another success. The Rabigh UOU Project in Saudi Arabia which started in July 2006 and offers employment to 3200 workers including 600 Turkish engineers and workers has reached 7 million man hours of DAFWC.
Eurobank Tekfen’s new corporate identity was presented at a press meeting held in Istanbul on January 11. During the meeting the shareholders and the management gave an overview of the bank’s strategy and goals to further develop its activities in the Turkish market. For the first time in the history of The Ýstanbul Stock Exchange, the Exchange Bell will ring tomorrow at 9:30 am, to open the morning session with an inauguration ceremony. The bell will be rang by Tekfen Holding CEO Erhan Öner, to celebrate Tekfen Holding's initial public offering, successfully completed last week and the company's first day on the stock exchange.

Litwin-Tekfen consortium has been awarded a $240 million contract in Saudi Arabia, by Ma’aden, for the 2nd phase of the construction of a Phosphoric Acid Fertilizer Plant. Tekfen’s portion of this EPC project is $189.8 million and comprises all contruction and installation works.
Tekfen has been awarded Khurais Water Injection Facilities and Utilities Project, Mechanical Works, Package-1 and Package–2 by Snamprogetti of Italy, acting as the EPC Contractor for Aramco of Saudi Arabia. >>
